I love your work, can I post on my blog or Facebook or Instagram?
Of course, I would be thrilled if you shared my work! Please link directly to my website, Instagram, or Facebook, if possible.
Where do you get your patterns and how do you transfer them onto fabric?
Patterns come from me, my imagination, my brain, whatever you want to call it. I generally find inspiration from Instagram and Pinterest, and then do a lot of sketching. I transfer them onto fabric either by tracing from my sketchbook or simply drawing onto the fabric with pencil, marker, or water-soluble marker.
Where do you get your hoops and fabrics?
I buy my hoops from eBay. I like the idea of re/using what’s already out there. I buy my fabrics from the scrap bin at fabric stores. Thread is usually DMC, from fabric stores.
How long does it take you to make a piece?
It depends. Text or quote pieces are quicker. Scenery pieces take up to 4 days.
Do you sell patterns?
Not at this time, no.
Do you do custom or wholesale orders?
I do! Please contact me for questions on custom orders. Keep in mind, for wholesale orders, each piece is still handmade, so there will be some variation between each piece.
Can I recreate one of your pieces?
Please, no. Feel free to use one of my works as inspiration as you find your own style (as in, “I love your skull piece, so I am inspired to make a work that also includes some kind of skull”, but directly or indirectly, don’t copy any of my works.
